A total of 14 Chinese and overseas companies signed deals worth over CNY7 billion at the 2018 Global Petroleum Trade Summit held by JLC on May 30-31, 2018.
The summit was concurrently held with the China (Dongying) International Petrochemical Trade Conference and Exhibition at Dongying Huanghe International Convention and Exhibition Center in China’s Shandong province. Oil giants around the world gathered at the summit, including overseas companies BP, Chevron, Exxon Mobil, Lukoil, Petronas and Total and Chinese state-run PetroChina, Sinopec and CNOOC. Meanwhile, a lot of Chinese independent refiners led by Chambroad Petrochemicals and Wonfull Petrochemical participated in the summit.
Huang Haixin, president of JLC and Jing Xianghui, director of the comprehensive bonded zone of the Dongying Port Economic Develop Area, delivered speeches and congratulated the 14 companies including BP and Shandong-based Tianhong Chemical at the signing ceremony that took place at 11:00 on May 30.
Mr. Jingxiang Hui made an introduction about the Dongying Port Economic Develop Area, along with its preferential policies and advantages.
“Since the launch of China’s crude futures, trading volumes of petroleum and related products have been on the rise and the Chinese petrochemical market has been expanding, which has generated huge cooperation opportunities for companies across the world. We should seize the opportunities to strengthen ourselves”, Mr. Huang Haixin commented in his speech.
